Yaşar Kurt
Yaşar Kurt was born in 1968 in Istanbul. He studied in primary, secondary and high school between 1974 - 1989. In 1990 he started studying in Eskişehir Anatolia University - Open Education Faculty but he didn't graduate.
In 1994 he recorded "Sokak Şarkıları" in Köln, Germany. It was published by Ada Music. Between 1994 - 1997 he performed in Berlin, Ankara, Bielefeld, Izmir, Diyarbakır, Antalya, Erzurum, Antakya, Samsun, Karabük, Aydın, Foça, Istanbul etc.
In 1997 his album "Göndermeler" was recorded in Istanbul.
In 2002 he recorded "Reflex" in Istanbul Güzel Sanat Studio. Its production company was Ağdaş Music. It continued for 1,5 years. In the album he sang 9 songs that he wrote between 1999 - 2000.
In 2003 he published the album "Anne" by his own record company. Also in this year he organized Barışarock and performed in this festival. He's still in a part of Barışarock.
In 2004 he made music for a television programme "Sevda Tepesi".
"Anne" was his last album. But he continues performing in some bars in Turkey or abroad.
